Front mount spare

I'm planning a trip for the Mojave Road later this month. Truck is a 1990 f250 HD 4x4 5 speed. I have an Alaskan camper on it. I have a spare mounted in the usual place, but would like to carry a second spare. Has anyone used a front, bumper mounted spare? Is the mounting system they strong enough to hold the heavy tire/wheel without bending either the mount or the bumper?

I'm prepared to make one myself if need be, but thought I'd tap some experienced person who may know how to save me some time and/or grief.

What size tire? We used to have one on our Dodge D250 Cummins, it was a pretty beefy mount and could hold the LT235/85R16 easy, and could probably go bigger. We got rid of it because it blocks airflow, why can't you mount it in the bed?

PS ours was welded straight to the frame

Tires are LT265/75 16. I have the camper in the bed, so it's either a front bumper mount or a roof rack on the top. It's an extended cab, so that might be another way to do it.
