Thanks for all the input guys. I am buckling down and trying to get this truck in proper condition again. Between work, my car getting stolen, then blowing a motor in my daily this truck keeps getting put on the backburner!
Anyways, I looked at motor and found this number C8VE-E. Now after some research it looks like it's a 1968 LINCOLN 460 from a Continental? I'm assuming that the distributors I've been looking at would fit this as well. My truck is at a shop right now and the "mechanic" was saying he couldn't find the correct distributor. He followed with "the shaft is either to short or long". I find it hard to believe it's a hard part to locate. They don't specialize in old cars but they were letting me store it there for the time being. Along with the dist, I was thinking a new coil might be in order as well. I should get my gas tank cleaned out since it's been sitting for about 8 months or more, but I'm not sure if it's necessary.
Anyways, I just did an ebay search and found this (Item # 300228684951) "FORD SBF BBF DISTRIBUTOR NEW WOW SMALL CAP 351C TO 460". If this would work I will just get it. I don't want to go the MSD route since they are way pricey. After dropping over $3,500 on a new motor/radiator/clutch etc.. on my daily. I'm going the budget path for now.
