I just got my HPX yesterday and put it on today. Must say it is quite easy. Didnt notice much change with accerlation, seems to be alittle quieter, but not sure cuz just added alittle oil to the fuel and that seemed to quiet it down a good bit. And changed my oil. Good day off.
Keep us posted. I'd like to hear what you think of the HPX in the near and distant future.
I've had mine for a little over 2 months (?) now and love it. although it doesn't provide huge changes the little things it does are worth the 55 i think (solid line) I do alot of highway driving to-from school and just the benifit of a quieter engine at speed was worth the money. If your thinking about it... do it! worth it IMHO
That's what I wanted to know, Robb. My daily commute is 90% interstate, 10% city streets.
Quieter and smoother is what I hear folks talk about, but no one has said anything after installing them if it really did make the engine quieter and smoother.

Well, it's not a "night/day" change, but for me it was noticible. I hear that some people have different experences. I usually drive with my radio off (mostly because I love the sound of the 7.3 ) and I could sence a difference. Hope this helps!!! let me know if you have any more questions!!
Dad was leaving for work and i was going to the gym, so we both had our trucks running and he has a 2000 f350 7.3. My truck was noticebly quieter than his and when i go in and actually got to drive it a distance, man the cab is so nice!!!(windows ups) It sounds like your riding in a 99-03 7.3, now i can even hear 6637 Intake suckin. It also helps vibrations alot too.
I say if your thinking about doing this mod, think no more, spend the $59. I know I have sold my dad on one.

I had mine for about 6 months and had to remove it for a week or two when I damaged it R&R'in the turbo. What a difference. Just get used to it and then take it off for a time and you'll really notice it gone. Very worth the 30 bucks I spent on it!
