He must be into a heavy work load, I know the FD in Montgomery (where he works) has been doing alot of upgrading , and he also works on the side for a network design and install co.

EDIT: I also run about 72MPH at 2000RPM
thanks Brandon..glad to know he is ok...i left ya some more points...

OK, you're a girl. I'm surprised you were able to confuse our former mathmetician with your RPM's. I thought bigger tires always lowered the RPM's and threw the speedo off.

at 2000 rpm's I'm running 75.7 mph according to GPS. Speedo says 68 I never understood Gene's post much either.....some of it was EXTREMELY informative, but alot was very advanced. Always apreciated the time and effort though!

I miss Gene and Alan. Gene made me think about a lot of stuff that I wouldn't otherwise. I didn't always agree but he was always onto something, not that he was always right about it. I could always ignore a post if it was too deep , or trivial as in mountain out of a molehill. He was a card carrying 6637 basher which cracked me up.

Now Alan on the other hand was Mr. quick fix. Before I could even open my manual, he was posting the data complete with pics. Where ya at Alan?

I get really lonely at the weekly 6637 basher's club meeting without him.....................

You got me there. Yeah I tested my truck the same as Travis, watching the RPM's and testing the speed with a GPS.

Eugene I think was just a little too mathematical for the rest of us rednecks.

I think Gene's wife probably appreciated the rest of us, though, because we were at least an outlet for him that took some of the pressure off of her having to listen to the schpeal all the time, but she did have the lovely opportunity to be observing him in all of his testing and experimenting efforts. Shoot, now that I think about it, she was probably well-trained as his assistant, so she got the raw version of everything we saw. Must be one dedicated woman!
