I believe he is probably still prettty tied up with a major project at work. That was the original issue, and I believe it's probably still true. I'll bet Brnadon will chime in here before long and verify.
I wonder how many here actually read and understood all his charts and writings. I usually got lost after the first paragrraph. lol
I tried. Math was always my worst subject and just looking at one of his equations made me want to get up and run away.
He got mad at me once because he had developed this formula that figured total RPM's based on speed. Something along the lines of 70 MPH=2,000 R's not including variables for wind resistance and bla bla bla. I told him I run about 2,000 R's at about 74 MPH. He didn't like that too much. I guess it sent him back to the drawing board.

You did it to easy for him. lol. You must have 3.73s, because at 2000rs I am at 62 mph. But who's counting, right?

That I do. But you're right, who is counting, really? Each truck is different and I don't think variables can be pinned down using a mathematical formula.
Just like there is really no explaining why some of us get good mileage (18mph +) and some of us don't. Just the luck of the draw I guess.

I do believe you are right on with that. I live on flat land, no hill here. And at sea level, so that by itself should be better mpg for me. BUT IT'S NOT.
Alan was in a few times about a month ago..said he was right out strait...ill bump this up so Brandon can see this..
Did someone call my name?
I passed Alan on the road going home the other day, tried to call him but only got the "plz hold while the nextel customer your trying to reach is located" MSG.
He must be into a heavy work load, I know the FD in Montgomery (where he works) has been doing alot of upgrading , and he also works on the side for a network design and install co.
