Job update #2

Well I got the job at United Rentals, still trying to figure out why the heck out of 10 applicants with 1A's why did they chose me???
I got the job but I have to give them a answer by tommorrow.

The problem is within the last couple of weeks I have started to become attached to hauling drywall.

Anyways
at Untied Rentals
$18.98 a hour raises every 3 months
full benefits
I am the primary driver of 3 trucks no other 1a's, 3a's or 5A's drivers
#1 International 9200 tractor with a 40 ft tilt deck tridem trailior (lokks pretty new 2004ish)
#2 Ford F650 sliding deck airbrakes std. (2002ish)
#3 Ford F250 diesel auto power tailgate 2004ish)

But at Kenroc I'm at $17 to be review after 3 months +incetives of about 75 a week
full benefits and they treat a employee pretty well

At United I won't be doing as much physical labour, (may get fat lol) I can also work many more hours at United with overtime after 2 and/or 40

I told United I will give a answer tommorrow first I guess I'll talk to the Kenroc boss he has hinted to me in the event of me finding another job my wage could very easily increase.

Any ideas/comments? PLEASE!!!!! reply I dunno what the heck to do.

Thanks.

Thats a tough one bud. I think it all depends on what your goal is. If your goal is more money I would say go for the united one. If it is to stay in shape I would vote for the kenroc one.

Unless you learn to really like lugging dry wall go for United Rentals if you`ve met their staff and things look good. Going with your instinct usually works.....

go with the one that you will have more FUN at. chasing the bigger dollar sucks when you can't have fun at work, but you get paid more. way easier to go to work ever morning when it is fun.(better boss and crew = easier to work) but then again it is work.

It dont take much to get hired sometimes man. Clean drivers abstract and a 1a will land you a ton of jobs. Once you have a year or more experience behind you it gets even easier. Then you can be picky!
