Sometimes the two weeks notice doesnt mean much, when a guy has just started. I have seen one employer get extremly choked at that. They figure it was a waste of their time.
Actually they say its acceptable if you havent been at a company for three months, you dont have to give any notice.
Ive also heard you dont even have to give 2 weeks notice when you quit a job, its just more of a polite thing to do.
It is just more of a polite thing to do, not like there is a law or even consequences they have to pay you for time worked.
They aren't poo'ed not happy though dissapointed maybe, might feel bit cheated since I was being trained. But I'll see if I do stay for 2 weeks might say heck with the secound week if I'd rather go play with my trucks in warm weather.
