Drain Plug on 2008 Finned Differential Cover?

Or simply pull the speed sensor and use a vacuum extractor. I even change the oil in the engine with a vacuum extractor these days. The plug has not been removed in years.

Reusable lube locker gasket. Then just pull cover and you can inspect everything when you change diff oil. And no messy silicone to fo with.

I just did this instead of trying to get a drain plug in. So far so good on it.

The main hassle in pulling the cover is gasket makers and waiting for them to cure. If the lube locker doesn't start to leak I'll be happy.

I uses one with my 08 cover have had it on 2 different axles (did coild spring axle swap and out in matching rear axle). Reused the gasket fine. Been using it 3-4 years now.
