Pull The PCM fuse for about 30 min to reset the PCM. Until the fault codes cleared, it probably won't clear up.

Thanks!! I started the van and used an infarred temp sensor and found the right side cat was approx 150 degrees hotter than the other. I am trying to figure the best way to fix this before I start to cut in or discoonect. The OEM cat comes as a Y assembly listing for $1200. I have started another thread on this one

I know from some past experiences that Motorcraft plugs are better to run. I swapped mine on my 04 5.4l and noticed a small difference in power until I put motorcraft back in, and I do believe they are platinums. Also my dad had a similar experience in his f-150, and I had it in a 300ZX that the plugs worked great for two days and wouldn't drive anymore, when I put the Ngk plugs it called for it started right up and ran perfect.

Update.. I found the left front cat broke up ($600 aftermarket y pipe) and plugged up the rear cat ($400+). I have since replaced the front cat with a high flow aftermarket cat ($60) and just omitted the rear cat for now. At least it runs with a bit more power now. Now I have a skip. I assume it"s a coil so I am just changing all the boots to see if that helps. It isnt throwing the check engine light so it's trail and error.LXman nailed it! Bad cat. This thing has been sitting for over a year now and I am starting to get the itch to drive it.

Ok, As I said earlier if it was the last thing I did I would get this!!! Now. I have since replaced the left cat, rear cat and all 3 o2 sensors. After sitting for long periods of time (hours and hours) then driving it for about 6 miles it will start to run like crap. Like a misfire. Had is scanned and here is some info. Also replaced all plug boots and springs.

TPS reading slow (will replace in a few minutes)
02 21 @ 366 milivolts
02 11 @ 182 milivolts
02 12 @ 5 milivolts
IAT 79F
coolant temp 181fF
Cylinder head temp 71V
p1000
p1127

Happy Haloween Everyone!

FIXED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

After almost 3 years it is fixed!! Today I replaced the left side COP's (didn't do all 8 cause these things aint cheap) and the TPS. I had replaced just the boots and springs on all 8 COP's before but I figured with 120k on it it wouldn't hurt and would eliminate those as the problem. I have drivin it longer than I have in years and no reoccurring problem. Now, a new tank of gas, more air in the tires, an a quick buff job we are off and running!!

Next is the right side COP's, the oil, and stuff. Any suggestions of what else I should do since it has been sitting so long?

YAHOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks everyone and especially LXMAN.
