Ron, you should go to his website and you will realize that you are FOS Everything there is "better than his major competitors." Who's ss hpx would you use? Can you do a fuel cross w/o a reg return? That doesn't look like an option on his site.

I would use whichever HPX was easy to install, doesn't leak, and doesn't cost a fortune. The one ITP sells (made by KCM) is just fine in all respects. I would use any that was similar -- it's just a SS tube with connectors at the end. Not much to go wrong with it.

Not sure what you're referring to on the fuel mod. Can you link us to it? If he's referring to the CCK that I have installed, it *IS* regulated on the return from the heads. There is a fixed orifice between the heads and the return that does exactly the same thing a regulator will do at a fraction of the cost. But is of course, not adjustable unless you manually swap it with smaller or larger orifice couplers. Not a big deal to me.

Anyway, not trying to be argumentative -- just giving another perspective.

Question: I've heard this is a boost leak. I don't want to loose my hard earned boost. Is this true?

Answer: The BRV+ does "dump" air to relieve the MAP line, but the orifice inside the BRV+ restricts the volume of air entering the valve and the MAP line. The amount of air lost at even 50+lbs of boost would be equivalent to loosing a thimble full in a house full of air. We're not talking about even a fraction of one psi of air. So, to call it a "boost leak" is splitting hairs and looking for a reason to mislead the public.

The CCK does exactly the same thing the reg-return does, but like I said, it's not adjustable. However, if you get the rest of the system sold by DFA, you can adjust pressure at the fuel pump side. That kit replaces EVERYTHING from tank to heads (lines, filter, pump), and is about the same cost as JUST the reg-return, so you know where I'd put my money...

DFA seems to have a real good deal on the CCK and HPX as a package. $170 plus shipping. I think they are $200 from other folks. It looks like their hoses are plain rubber though, not ss. I can't find ITP's?

Where else can you get a CCK?

Which is DFA's package? I think I am confused now

Okay, at DFA you can get just the CCK (like I did before they came out with the full system), or you can order the whole enchilada which includes the CCK, but also comes with a completely upgraded system. Upgraded fuel pump, big filter, and lines. Here is a thread discussing this:
https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/682637-got-fuel.html

The CCK is a DFA exclusive, IIRC. No other place to get it. You can get a reg-return at other places, but like I said earlier -- if I'm dropping that kind of cabbage, I'm getting the full system from DFA.

The DFA HPX is a hose. Debatable on if it's bad or good, but you can argue that the stock HPOP lines are made of the same thing. I simply went SS because I was already ordering stuff from ITP and had it thrown in the box. Go with whichever you feel is right.

chill out dude...lol..I spent a lot of cash with Bob.90% of my mods are from him...very happy with how he treated me and a lot of stuff i got from him.....as far as the HPX line..I have the rubber line that Bob had to offer at the time..SS lines came soon after I did this mod..next time ill get the SS from who ever has the best offer..reg return?? ill get that from ITP ..I like the idea of feeding the front of the heads with 3/8" SS line instead of the stock 1/4" line cross corners on the head..and having both returns at the rear so the fuel is a little cooler before its fed to the injectors sounds kind of sweet to.. stock lines lay low in the valley collecting heat before it gets to the injectors...true I don't need the reg...but it would be nice to turn up the fuel for mudding and or playing at the turn of a ****..as far as a boost fooler..when I hook up my boost leak detector and I hear air hissssing at 20 psi..its a leak to me..I don't care how small..a leak is a leak.i have Bob's IC boots just so i wont hear any leaks...with the ITP OBA I can build up to 40 psi and not hear one little hiss..that's what I like and that is what i want....im not trying to talk you out of it..like I said Bob's boost fooler is on the wall..if you want it..its yours....just let me know..

Ron, I'm 99% sure you get all new lines with the DFA kit. Not sure if the feeds are reversed on the passenger side or not -- you might pick Brandon's brain on that one. I would think that is a super-easy change to make if you really wanted to do it that way...

Bob says you are supposed to change all your fuel lines every year...I can't believe you haven't done this Ron!!!

AND you know I don't have anything against Bob, but come on...not everything he has can be better than his competition. I am not asking for him to dis his own product, but you don't need to tell me every time, "This is way better than ITP's."

If you get Tony Wildmans tunes, Reburns are free, I have no idea why this forum ignores a great product from a man that stands behind it.

I saw his work first hand over the weekend (see that thread here: CLICKY ). Definitely good stuff, and a great guy. I got my Tuner while I was down in FL, and I love my DP. But had I known Tony was LOCAL to me, I would've most likely gone that route.
