2wd c-6
is it possible to use a 2wd c6 on a 4x4 by just removing the tailshaft or is there more to it than that?

More to it than that....
You will have to change the out-put shaft also.

you need a shorter out put shaft not hard to swap out if you good at rebuilding transmissions. it just takes time its one of the first pieces you put in so the trans has to come all the way apart
