how much do yall think i might have to shim the front bumper to get the 305's on. i have some extra time and thought i might go ahead and get that done before the tires so they dont rub on the way home or would it be better to wait and see with the tires on.
my current truck has no shimming of the bumper. i need to find the pictures of my other turck with the shims in place, i was never pleased with how it looked, the dumb thing stuck out too far for my liking
Guess i'll have to wait and see. I have 285's now with no shims, but I have leveling springs. I just thought it may be a long ride home from the tire shop if they rub. I am getting them put on in the next town over and i dont wanna chew them or the truck up on the 30 mile trip.

YEAH mine sticks out a bit far too but have gotten used to it
for the trip you are making the tires shouldnt rub, especially with the leveling kit, your truck looks good the way it sits, i think the 305's will definatly fill up the wheel wells all the way but like tj said, you will probably only rub on a tight turn or if you hit a big bump.

I dont think that looks bad at all. What size are those tires? I love that color,we have a '77 F-100 I would like to paint that color I think it would look bad azz on that old truck.
Just noticed the black lug nuts. Did you paint them or find some black ones somewhere? Im showin my nuts now. I painted mine but its comming off. I did a quick and dirty .97 wally world paint job. I lost a hubcap and needed a quick fix. I like the look and would like to go back and do it right.
