i have 315's on mine and only had to shim it for the plow to clear in the winter only shimmed it 1/2"! buy four longer boltes and nuts and washers and four nuts two sizes up from them and use them as spacers works great! oh ya p.s. make sure the nuts you use to tighten them up are locking nuts or they will back off my first mistake I made.
Just noticed the black lug nuts. Did you paint them or find some black ones somewhere? Im showin my nuts now. I painted mine but its comming off. I did a quick and dirty .97 wally world paint job. I lost a hubcap and needed a quick fix. I like the look and would like to go back and do it right.
No thats not paint they are black plastic lug covers this truck didn,t come with Alcoa rims the PO put them on and they had a different center cap than the stock ford ones the lugs have threads on the outside so a cap can be screwed on the plastic covers are from a GM dually the original ones broke and Alcoa doesn,t make them any more they are supposed to be chrome
