I'm not terribly skilled at mechanics but I do enjoy it. Something I really appreciate about efi is the diagnostic help that comes with it. While the makeup of the fuel delivery system is more complex, it also tells you alot of information that can be used to track down problems.

though the advantages in the diagnostic section are seemingly there with efi, carbureted setups have alot less components so diagnosing problems isnt as difficult without a computer. Truthfully, if I lived in CA, I'd probably live with a carb on a daily driver, it's just too much work with ohio weather. That and anything that came stock with a carb up here is most likely gonna be rusted to the point of nonexistance by now
