I'm in the same situation. I want/need to plow, but don't want to damage my truck. Some say they've been plowing for years with light duty trucks, and others say I'll bend this and break that. I'm still on the fence. I'm looking at a small parking lot and about 10-15 residences.

I have been plowing with mine for 3 years now and havent had any problems
If you are planning on doing 10-15 driveways and or a small lots. I would go with a standard 7'6" blade not a light weight home owners plow thats meant to do 1 or 2 driveways. The boss that fordtruckamn is runnung and the fisher rd series are good blades. Jason
Thanks for the replies guys. I was looking at a Fisher Suburbanite. Don't want anything too light. One thing I like about the boss is how high it lifts, man those plows lift a good 6-8 inches higher it seems than the competition, however if anything goes wrong I can't drive it into a snowbank and manually tighten up the chain(which has happened twice this year) like I can with the fisher.
What's the ride like with the stiffer springs? I've saw a few 150's around without and man they sit low.
Well I got a deal I couldnt pass up. I traded my F-150 for an 06 SD Lariat Crew Cab. It has everything complete Banks kit installed by the dealer with a engine brake as well. It has air bags in the rear and the PDA too. I will be checkin in here now and then you guys have all been very helpful and I am greatly appriciated. I will post pics of the new truck when I get it...if I can figure it out.

The Only way to go is used. I gotit for 24,000. Its got 53000 miles on it and its got all the add ons that came with it. I know they guy who used to won it and he trades every 2 years cause he does 25-30,000 miles a year. He upgraded to a 450...thats the truck I would buy if I could afford it.
