My uncle just picked up a 2011 F-150 Lariat Ultimate Crew with the 5.5' Box. I have to say that its a sweet truck and the ecoboost is really impressive.
On to my question, he is a printer by trade, owns his own shop, so he is in and out of the back of the truck quite a bit. Back in 05 when I had my F150 I had a bed rug which he loved. So whos got them at the best prices, also he does have the tail gate step as well.
Does anyone have a picture of the bed rug installed with a tail gate step?
Just wanted to know how they finished it around the step, I am assuming they dont even run it to the gate.
I bought mine off of eBay for $350.00 including shipping from a seller in TX, it is for a 6.5' box and I did order the version for the tailgate step. I have not installed it yet so I can't help you with pictures yet. Once my truck arrives and I install it I'd be happy to post pics.
The BedRug does cover the tailgate and even has a hinged piece between the tailgate and the box so that stuff can't fall down inbetween the box and tailgate.
I am also looking at the bedrug or bedtread liner, I didnt want a drop-in or a spray-in liner and I like the looks of the bedrug or the new beadtread, I tow a travel trailer and somtimes put large things in the bed, but not a yard of dirt or anything like that, mostly tools.
I think I like that option better than a spray in.
Thanks I will give them a call this afternoon. It just seems odd that they would waste time and material to cover the Tail Gate Step. Its all plastic anyway.
