All of my siblings still live around the MetroPlex....sometimes it's really nice to be away from all that madness.
Oh man, I miss the madness. The interstate shuffle and all that. However, the biggest thing I miss is all the places to eat especially along Central and Tino's in the mall.
I use Neatsfoot oil, I got a bottle at TSC( gasp!) sorry Storm, for like $8. Starts out really dark, don't be scared- it'll lighten from the dark color you'll see after applying it. How come you don't like TSC?

Gotcha! How's those stacks treatin' ya? Sorry for the hijack!
Like donkey pee.. Damn bracket busted on passenger side so the whole thing leans.. We had to jerry rig it because GR didnt send me those clamps that go around the actual stack and hook into the L Bracket.. I finally got them in and will have it fixed tomorrow morning.. Other than that.. I'm glad I got a black truck LOL I already see the small soot spots on the bed rails lol
I use brickman #1 and brickman #4 one is a cleaner and the other is a conditioner. I found them at a local tack shop they work very well, use them once a month.
If you're going to pay $2500+ for the leather then use what the leather maker recomends. At $9.00 a bottle it's reasonable and it smells good too! You can also buy it on ebay for $15 + $6 shipping, still can't figgure that out. The first time I did my 2008 KR screw it used ~1/2 a bottle for the front and back. You can buy it here. Remember, "It's all about the Leather".

Actually if you talk to the King Ranch mastersaddle maker he recommends plan ole neatsfoot oil(my grandmother went to grade school with him, it pays to have connections like that sometimes). The King Ranch company is recommending that. Yes it works, but you have to remember before you use what they say as an appeal to authority consider all their motives as well, so of course they are going to recommend their own product.
After I bought my KR, I figured the smartest thing to do was to talk to the horse folks I knew. Saddles don't come cheap. Since this is saddle leather, who best to ask!!!

Yep, the stuff that I use on my truck is the exact same stuff that I use on my saddles and two of them are King Ranch saddles.
