call king ranch and get there leather conditioner. thats what i use. not to expensive. any saddle leather conditioner/soap will work on them. personally though the king ranch stuff does the best job at bringing them back to life

Meguiars makes a cleaner/preservative called "Gold Class" that I like. Put it on 3-4 times a year (I think it says to use more often). seats look good and it smells pretty good also.

Best leather conditioner there is is Lexol. They make cleaners and conditioners. That is all we use on all our leather goods. Have saddles that are 20 years old and still looking new.

Do you want the leather to darken or try to have it stay the same color?

Lexol does make a good product, but they have two types of conditioners, darkening or non-darkening. The darkening conditioner you are able to use less, which I think is due to it be the darkening formula. Because of that, it is able to "penetrate" more into the leather and it just lasts longer.

The non-darkening formula is good, but it seems to me that has to be used more often or used more within each "sitting".

I use neatsfoot oil on my truck and on my saddles (which are also King Ranch made, it pays to have a grandmother that knows the master saddle maker) and I like it a lot. However, both are pretty dark now, but I like them getting darker. Adds character I think.
