wreedZ71, I just use a folded up cotton rag. Works fine for me. I have conditioned my two year old seats probally four times and they look and feel like new. I am hooked on the KR leather and don't think I could be without again.
I put the conditioner on the seats and rub it in by hand. This way you do not waste any conditioner by it going into the cloth. I addition, I find that I can work it into the seats better. Afterwards I buff it off with a cotton cloth to avoid the white residue build up. I live in Florida and put conditioner on the seats avery other month.
can i buy this stuff like at wal-mart or any part stores?
I would find it difficult to belive ANYTHING could condition leather better than LEXOL. http://www.lexol.com/
Heck, they probably make the KR labled product.
The best applicator is a new 'detail sponge' or a new car wax sponge applicator. It absorbs no conditioner and really spreads it around fine. I use these for treating the plastic with UV block too (different sponge). My favorites are the little round, thin yellow ones. My leather treatment of choice is Griot's 'Leather Care'. I'll use it several times during warm weather so the closed-up car gets hot and really bakes it in. I don't buff either, because in my SUV I have dyed leather which is not shiny when new. Griot's also has a good 'leather' smell.

i would think the king ranch stuff is the best for the king ranch seats.

Are you sure about that because, that's exactly what their marketing BS is hoping for...(really)
Don't think for one minute a manufacture like Lexol doesn't make a product that can't easily handle the leather requirements in your KR.
Heck no...But I've used Lexol on all my leather needs for the past +20 years!
Corvette Leather, Harley Jackets and Chaps, boots, anything Leather it's been used.
There's many a thread about the KR leather conditioning. So many different opinions, maybe the KR guru will chime in. I've had the BEST results with the KR conditioner. Lexol is good, but there is some data that suggests it attacks the thread used to fabricate the streering wheel leather. Just my $.02.
