I'm using both kinds of Lexol. I'm using the regular on the outsides of the seats and the non-darkening on the seat center sections. Right now you can't tell much difference but with time I think it'll look distinctive.

One thing you have to realize is that the non-darkening doesn't penetrate the leather like the original formula does, something to do with the extra processing to make it non-darkening.
Go to Tractor Supply or a Tack Shop and tell them you need Saddle Soap and Conditioner.. If you use "Armorall Leather" or any other "Leather" cleaner found at Wal-Mart or Parts Store, you risk destroying your KR Leather.. Believe me, you want GOOD STUFF! Ever try riding a horse with a saddle that is shot.. Talk about uncomfortable as hell.. Imagine sitting in that driving, not fun
Tack Shop or TS can set you up... I'd learn more towards a Tack Shop instead, I'm not real fond of Tractor Supply.
msgtg,I personally like the darkening that it does, but I started thinking about what your trying to accomplish and I think it'll look pretty cool after awhile.
BTW, I second Storm's comment on the armorall gel....IMO don't waste your money. I bought a bottle....and it's still sitting on the shelf in the back room.
BTW, don't foget to do your steering wheel and grab handles when you clean and treat the leather!

Armor All is ok on Lariat Leather.. It's the KR Saddle Leather that it'll mess up.. Nothing worse then seeing saddle leather go bad
I wouldn't mind a KR yet I'm on a saddle quite a bit so when I'm not on one, I sure don't want to be driving on one LOL
Like I said, I clean it once a year and condition it twice a year. I have a KR Crew so it takes a while...both front seats, then the back bench. For me it'a an all afternoon thing...first the saddlesoap....let it sit for a few and buffing it out. THEN the Lexol or mink oil.
BUT, it's certainly worth it. Just take a long trip....I get out and my backside doesn't feel like a lump of concrete. The other think I love is getting into a hot truck wearing shorts and not yowling like a scalded dog because the seats are as hot as a griddle!
I was born and raised for part of my life just north of Kingsville...in Alice. I'll NEVER own a vehicle with black interior! LOL

Mom and her parents born and raised in Kingsville, dad and his in Corpus Christie, but I was the yankee kid from Plano(round Dallas). I miss eating at King's Inn(sorry the off topic, but when someone from there is round I just have to mention that).
