My buddy wannts to sell some stuff on ebay

MY buddy n I registered him on his laptop (wireless connection) tonight. Signed in, went to try to create the seller account (basically put a CC on file)...

Ebay kept coming up with an error that it couldnt process the card, Tried another card, no change. Figured maybe the wireless connection is screwing with it.

Went to his hardwired desktop and I cant even login in, Get the wrong password error. So I click "forgot my pass" at which stage it asks for his user ID. Ebay then says his ID is invalid.. I then click "forgot my username" They send him an email with the exact same username were trying to use....

I go back to the laptop, log off his ID, log in with mine, bid on something, then log off and back in on his, but ebay still hangs on the CC verification screen.

I cant figure this out.

I then come home and try to login with his info. I get the invalid username error...

Anyone have any ideas what the hell is going on?

 

Well it should have nothing to do with the wireless router..

I have seen where the cc and address info you enter does not match what is on file at the cc company.. Make sure your ebay info matches the cc info..

That's all I can think of right now.

 

Good luck on selling on there now!! They just changed the feedback policy and it is now skewed to the buyer and that isn't right since you only ge thalf the story!! I
mostly bought stuff but I started selling things and made a bunch of money then all
of a sudden things dropped and I had to pay the listing fees because nothing was selling, then I started getting crazy emails and offers from the Uk ebay, I had trouble with every buyer I sold to for no reason, got one guy who didn't read the ad and said
I'll pay you with a e check(only accept paypal or po money order) I waited and waited
for payment then I got an email that looked all official and from paypal with their logos and all the fineprint and crap, BUT the address was basically from the buyers email and screen name and nowwhere on the address did it say PP or ebay. Luckily I have
no money in the bank if this was some scam to get my bank account info, I haven't
had anything come up missing. Be careful on there and do everything by the book and
be sure the address bar reads ebay and if it is a secure page it says HTTPS:// and has
the lock symbol!! I heard there was some crap going on with the ceo of ebay and
really the quality of the offerings has gone down and the price has gone up!! There are
