Not Cranking

Hello guys. I have a quick question. I have a friend with a 92 f350 manual 7.3 that won't crank over. If I jump the solenoid it will crank but not with the switch. So basicly I'm not getting A signal to the solenoid. It is a manual trans so neutral sensor? clutch sensor? If so how do I check all those wires, lol .that Or Ignition switch? I know this is outta of this forum years but The wiring I beleive is very generic. Thanks in advance for your help guys, DESY.

Turn the key to start, Check to see if you are getting 12 V at the small wire on the starter solenoid mounted on the fender. If so you probably need a new solenoid. If not check the neutral safety switch on the clutch pedal under the dash.
