the 2d pic is the one I was referring to that goes with the speedo I think. other 2 not sure. On my 4.0 I have the O2 sensor wires that have to be plugged in maybe one of these is for that?
I was just looking at the vss switch on the auto zone site it looks like my connection would hook right up.
I'm thinking maybe I broke part of mine off when moving the trans around while cleaning.
Thanks in advance,
Johnny
Thats the switch next to the connector in pics 1 & 3.
btw, I got the master bled and installed today. Hope it works alright, seems like a good pettle. I'll pick up a new switch and install tomorrow. I'll let you know how it goes.
Thanks again for all your help,
Johnny
I took some pics showing my master with the wheel well removed and some showing the reverse light switch and VSS (VEHICLE SPEED SENSOR) switch.
Hope they help some. http://s247.photobucket.com/albums/gg158/jpj64/
I dont have a clue on these, I dont haveything like them on mine. I have 2 connectors as I recall on the trans, and the 2 O2 sensors. Need to get someone with a 4 cyl same year mod to answer on these!
I finished this clutch job and I’m very satisfied with how it turned out, other than a few cuts, bruises and sore mussels.
I did have a more difficult time with the bleeding than I thought I would. I bleed the master with the reservoir and all lines attached put it in truck and had too much air in it. I couldn’t get the circlip out, so out it came again. I re-bleed it and this time no air, just for precaution I got my wife to come out pump it while I bled the slave.
I couldn’t have done it with out your help.
BTW, I bought a CD on e-bay it’s made by Sterling Ind. For Ford, it was only $34.99 it seems to have a lot of information. I’ll find out how accurate it is when I try to use it on another job. It seemed to be accurate with this clutch job.
What do you think?
