you can just change your gear. if you pull gear out it will have a number on it like 15 thru 22 witch is how many teeth it has. when i did mine the speedo. was fast 15 mph i went up 2 teeth and its good. hope this helps.
What would be the correct factory speedometer gear for a 1978 F150 with a 302, 3 speed manual, and 2.75 gears?
IIRC, my '79 with 2.75 gears AND L78x15's came with a 16 tooth.
When I went to 3.25s with 235/70-15's it took a 19 tooth to get it right on.
Use the sites indicated in the FAQ, but also be sure to include your tire size in the calculations. (Tire Rack will give you your tire size's revolutions per mile.)
