Properly restoring old and even slightly rusty vehicles is very time consuming.
I don`t really know how much time we spent, maybe something like 15 + hours just making patch panels and butt welding in ready made ones on the 92`s box. And it wasn`t bad at all, the cab and doors are perfect, the front fenders I`m replacing because of some rust.
Rust in vehicle bodies is pretty much unstoppable (like forms of some cancers) once it gets a good start so it has to be totally cut out with new metal replacing any sections that have even the slightest rust
perforations.
