AFAIK there isn't any inspections for vehicles over 30 years old but if you have to get an inspection you better be darn sure everything works. Another thing is there isn't many places that can do a full wheel alignment on a I beam axle.
I'd imagine its like many other 50's,60's and 70's farm trucks? Left-right-left-right-left etc The thing with inspections is that the front end has to have no play in any of the components or it's an automatic fail.
You also have to remember whose *** is on the line if a part on that vehicle fails and kills someone. SGI won't have to look to hard to find the technician who safetied that vehicle. If I was qualified to do a safety, I could overlook that the heater only works in 2 of 3 speeds but that front suspension is gonna be damn sure it's tight.
