Here are a couple of pics to show some progress. Really just got settled in this week after our move, so I will be working on this untill done now. Almost there, I have a few spots to fill, then I can glass it.
I bascilly started over cause it was not working out to well. So I remove the skeleton I made and went with expandable foam to get the shape. It is real easy to work with, but does have some down time for the drying.
Going out to shoot my last coat of foam now. Atleast I hope it is the last time I have to foam it. I am excited to glass it.
nice lookin. I love to see how other people make their "plugs" for fiberglass work. Are you using the expanding foam in a can like you get at home depot or a true "A - B" type foam?
How bout a few decisions u've made run the wires under neath? gauges look like u're going close to dash correct ? and are u putting a tilt or angle on them or will the gauges be level. Thanks

Wires- that will be up to the installer. It will be hollow going down to where the dash meets the piller or you can drill a hole in the piller behind the guages.
They are at a small angle.
As for the foam I used the expanding foam great stuff you buy at a place like home depot.
I didnt see any years listed but it was ATM-17303
but they had a bunch of them, I didnt go thru them all but I would think a universal one could be cut to fit?
