looking good KRD.

Today was my first time looking at this thread because I thought this was like all the other weekly "I want an A pillar gauge" thread. Im glad to see someone take on a project like this that can actually make it look good. Congrats!

Any thought of a small tach pod? 3 5/8" not the big 5"+ ones

Looks like your making really good progress IMO... Keep it up. I might suggest that you build the gauge pod to suit you, how you think it works best. If you try and please everybody (it'll never happen btw) you'll end up pulling out your hair, and with a finished product that your not really happy with. I've sold a few FX tailgates, and the buyers always wanted it done this way or that, ended up doing them one way and one way only, if they didnt like it they didnt have to buy the darned thing.

Again, Keep up the good work!

Just thought I would stop by and say I am still here working on it, have just been super busy trying to put some new seats in my project car.

Anyway, I have decided to just make one start to finish, the way I think it should be. So I should have it about done this weekend if all goes well. Then we will get your input.

Be back on here in a few days.

Zak

Take your time KRD. I doubt anyone here is goin to be in a real major hurry. Most have waited a long time for these. A few more days or weeks won't kill anyone.

KRD,
Looking good. I love the idea of a 2 1/8" tach on the A pillar. I hate the boy racer monster tachs (unless it's for race purpose vehicles). I just don't like the looks of the big tach in a nice stock old truck.
Also just wanted to post on here so I can keep updated and get my order in when ever you get them ready. Maybe by that time I will have my new engine built and installed.
