Supply Pump
I understand that all of the fuel pumps are made by the same company but does any one have an idea which outlet might be the least expensive? Also, why do some mechanics call the fuel pump on my 97PS a supply pump? The fuel pump and supply pump are the same, yes????

AFAIK they are all made by carter. Not sure where the cheapest place is but I would get one locally, getting warranty replacements through the mail is pretty slow.
Supply/Fuel pump, semantics. They are both correct IMO. Our pumps are a little more though, it's a 2 stage pump capable of producing 90-100 PSI. (Not recommended to set them that high), most mechanical pumps don't go that high.
