And not mention that on certain items, people have mutiple Ebay accounts or have buddies that bid on items to run them up and in the end if it's themselves that win or a buddy, no big deal. But, if they get someone who doesn't really know value, than they have made a "big profit". It's always fishy when the person that won an item didn't bid until the very end and it's there first bid on Ebay.

It's called "sniping" where a program enters your bid for you at the last second, I use BiddingScheduler.com for sniping. Many many more out there. It's usually a lot cheaper in the long run and ya don't get caught up with "emotion" bidding.
I didn't think another thread on Ebay prices being high was necessary but I was watching this steering column from day one and IMO it seems to have gotten pretty dang high and more so when you add cost of shipping. At time of posting it is $200 plus $28 shipping.
Funny. I was just bidding on a manual tilt column from the same guy. I only bid up to about $45.00 hoping to get it cheap.... I emailed the guy 3 days ago asking if it was ok to pick it up and I never got a response.
