yah go into the super duty section and some one there could probly be able to help you there. I realize you are new to this , and this particular thread is for the 09 f150, probably not much help here for super duty's.
Open the tail gate. There are two bolts along the inside edge of the bed. Remove those and then pull striaght out on the whole light assy. From there you should be able to figure it out.
Those light will POP out after you remove the two bolts inside the tailgate. Be careful on your paint because when they pop out sometimes they dont do it evenly and you could scratch your paint. Maybe a little masking tape wouldnt hurt and afterwords a little grease on the tabs to help in future removal.

Thanks for the info, I was afraid something else was holding the assembly in place.
