5.4 misfire
I have a 01sd with a 5.4 and 108000mi I have a misfire at idle Thur driving range when you get on in it runs fine for a minute then it start missing again i put new plugs in at 100 (AL plugs) i have new cop (all 8) no codes no cel flash i put heat in the tank to make sure no water in tank new fuel filter

One of the coils may not be seated properly on the plug...
Same thing happened to my Dad's truck. Changed the plugs, worked fine for a week and then started missing again. We'd unhook one of the coils, fire it up and see if it ran better or worse to troubleshoot... good luck.

You could have a cracked COP boot as well.
