It isn't that it is difficult to use, it is just pointless.

Folks... lets get back to tech discussion. Dennis has been warned about trying being FTE's net-nanny more times than we can count and has been giving some time to cool-off.

Here is another iron to throw into the fire.

How do you restore damaged dinged nicked trim, and get it to look like the rest of the piece. I have some trim that is from super camper specials, and crew cabs that are damaged, would like to fix em up and not damage the surface, or at least restore it to an OE look.

I once built a frame out of 2x4's and put Aluminum foil in the frame. It worked out great. You can build any shape or size you want. After all how many times are you going to use it.

If your trim is very faded ,clear epoxy carefully aplied (Dont get it on your paint) will make it look new. It even takes out scratches.

i just did this, using an 8 - 10 inch polishing wheel on a drill and use the black emery compound. Tape around the paint using blue painters tape. clean up with soap and water. if that doesnt work sand the finish using 320 wet sandpaper, then use black emery compound. you will need to polish the trim once the finish is removed. you can use vinegar to remove the stubborn spots.
