Is it a two stroke or a four stroke?

I know the two stroke's days are numbered...of course, that may be just as well- I read that mowing your lawn with a two-stroke lawnmower produced as much pollution as driving a car from New York to San Francisco or something like that.

most all saws are two stroke because of the power to weight ratio. The manufactures are working on small 4 stroke motors. I've never seen a 2 stroke lawnmower.

Wow, Lawn-Boy and Jacobson push mowers from the 70's and 80's were almost exclusively 2 storke only. They were virtually indestructable, probably why they quit making them.

I had a 2 stroke mower back in the 80's. I've cut a many a yard during summer break with it. It was almost bulletproof, that is until my mom took it and put striaght gasoline in it.

We had an old 2-stroke Lawn Boy...it was one of the ones with the staggered wheels.

There was some clip that always fell out of it when you were trying to start it if you weren't careful, and if the clip fell out it wouldn't start. It was annoying.

EPA is ruining everything that has an engine and we enjoy working on, they are even trying to limit how many custom bikes a person can build in their life.

The Epa is putting a strain on everything. However, I think it's rather funny that today's engines are not really that much more efficient than they were 20 years ago. All the emission technology has serverly limited the milage/performance capabilities of these engines.

Lawn-Boy two stroke mowings where still available a couple years ago. My neighbor had a couple of them.

What I want to know is what the H E double hockey sticks is up with the epas crack down on diesels? The old mechanicle ones poluted far less than the new gass engines of today. If they don't belive me they can run a hose frome their exaust into their car and I'll run one frome my exaust into mine and will just see wich one pollutes more. And as for al gore and his global warming yeah its getting hotter last time I checked there was a giant fire ball in the sky that if I had to guess is hot and yess ice like found in the pollar ice caps melts when a radiant heat source like the sun is pointed at it and whats even wierder when theres less ice it melts faster. Ever stop to think there were no polla ice caps befor the sun was blocked out for millions of years. Alas comon sence has no place among environmentalists And I fear we're doomed by them.

I need one of thouse Calvin stickers where he's urinating on things that says EPA
