air filter
i have an 83 ford and every two weeks i have two change my air filter what is wrong it turns pitch black! graons and farts i put a new one in its running like a dreem were is this black stuff coming from why is there oil in there with it strong motor only 67,000 origanal km tune up every year need some help guys.

The oil is probably coming from the PCV intake filter located inside the air cleaner housing. It indicates something is wrong with the PCV system or your engine has excessive blow by (rings). The PCV hose goes from the air cleaner to a "can" on the valve cover. On my 83 I replaced the can on the valve cover with an after market one that didn't hook up to the air cleaner.
