Help. AOD transmission problem
Hello, this is my is my first post and I have a problem. I have an 83 F100 with a 4.9 AOD two wheel drive. I decided to change my transmission fluid and filter today. Every thing was going well until I went to clean the pan and found a small plastic piece laying in the bottom. It is about 1 1/2" long, looks like a piston with a 9/16" head with a rubber oring and a thin stem about one inch long. My manuals don't show it. I think it goes behind the filter but there is no obvious place for it. I didn't see it fall out. Thanks in advance for any help.
