What does a Propane system do ?
The dual fuel is JUNK!!!!! actually my truck caught fire because of it I took the propane system off which sits in the air cleaner I thought it should be no problems taking it off. Started driving up the road the carb flooded over and poof the top of the engine was on fire the propane dried out the gaskets and they started leaking.
The dual fuel systems are not as efficient as a propane fueled engine it works good but the engine has tobe set up properly to work you can have a thermal melt down if you don't. Stellite valves are needed there is no lubrication with propane so you need to run a harder valve and seats to keep them from burning out. If you are running a newer model engine it probably has stellite valves anyhow because unleaded gas doesn't have much lubrication either so hard valves are needed.
