When I turn the truck the rear end vibrates and then goes away when I straighten out. It sort of feels like its hopping. Its worse with speed. Is this what they call axle wrap?

Axle wrap usually happens under hard acceleration ( wheelspin, burnout, smoking the tires). Mostly when tires lose all traction - The leaf springs will form an S shape - axle wrap. It does cause hopping, are you spinning the tires at the time of hopping?
If not you may have to check your rear diff, brakes or bearings.
Is the rear end a LS diff? (limited slip)
Please list truck info too.
Darren, I updated the sig with some info on the truck. The brakes and bearings are fine as far as I know. All replaced recently. The tires do not spin when it hops.
The LS diff has to "release" a wheel while turning - Like an open diff.
I could be your LS is not working properly, or the driveshaft is binding.
I can't tell you for sure, someone else maybe able to help you if they had a similar problem. At least you know what axle wrap is!
I say the LS in the rear end is "chirping". That's what happens when you change the diff fluid and don't add the friction modifer. Have you had the diff serviced recently? If you have, try adding friction modifer and see if it goes away. And FYI, if you do add the modifer DON'T GET ANY ON YOU!!!! You think gear oil smells bad..........wow. And it will stay on you for 2 or 3 days, no matter how much carb cleaner you use and hand cleaner, showers.......it stays. If you haven't had the diff serviced, I would take this opportunity to pull the cover and give it a look. And No, that is not axle wrap.

X2
First sign of failure is after a hwy run the rear will bang making the first turn (turning off ramp) or so off the hwy.
If an additive issue. Install the additive then go do some left/right circles with some figure 8's with the diff up to temp.
99% of the time the LS is to soft (unlocks to easy)
Reverse of your problem.
x3 for the fricition modifier. Add a botle and make sure that your topped off as well. I have heard this happen with low fluid also, although I dont know for sure that I believe that. But DEF friction modifier. Any parts store sells it.
It could be from the rear shackle flip mod somehow binding. I first check for wear on the shakle or pins and use a jack to cycle the suspension looking for smooth travel
