yes I hope to be able to have ford do something but I am not to optimistic on that. If I have to do the upgrade I will and most likely change out the shocks all around at the same time. I have to get all the little things out of the way and then I think I will have a good(better) truck,but still not as good as my 03 was. thanks guys

A fellow I work with suggested I look to see if there is a variable rate spring I could use. If I understood him correctly the spring would give the smooth ride until it is put under load. His other suggestion is like rotun's suggestion of a leveling kit. I pull a 24ft travel trailer in the summer would the leveling kit alter the way I pull the trailer I run with the reese ball hitch with the bars and sway control. Any thoughts on these two suggestions

I think that you will find the variable rate spring will give you a decent ride and prevent the bottom out problem. Kevin at HRT in Okotoks is good wth the Ford SD supensions. He is a Dodge man at heart but I try not to hold that against him. He is actually just south of Black Diamond on Hwy 22. Here is a link to his web site and contact information.
