Less air pressure at high elevations make a turbo work very hard and they also make it spin faster.
Pyrometer is a very important tool at high elevations with a big load.
Pistons are good for 1250.
Turbos are good for 1270.
If they get hot enough, the exhaust side blades straighten out.
Boost starts dropping after that.
