??? about installing a flatbed
Hey guys I want to remove my pickup box and install a steel flatbed with wood deck any one ever do this have any suggestions as to the best way?
I looked at the bodybuilders guide an thought about fabing up some gussets to use the fatory box mounting holes in the frame which would be the easiest no?
Any thoughts or suggestions would be helpful

dumping flatbed.....
Actually daddy I did put some thought into the dump idea but I need top mounted toolboxes for my buisness and I have a gooseneck so the idea of shaking the tools up when ever I wanted to dump...not so good.
What I may wind up doing is getting a dump insert and slidingit inbetween the toolboxes. I will lock it in place on the gooseneck.
Unless you have a better idea or a different idea? I'm all ears!!

the brackets were my first thought solid, simple and secure. How heavy a steel did you use 1/4" 3/8" or bigger, I was thinking somewhere between 3/8 and 1/2" thick.
