I have a silver and black truck. I never said they were ugly, just not going to work for me. Well, after some thought, WTH were they thinking?

They are ugly. New boots and a paint job and they are quite acceptable. Actually it was only half a paint job. Don't have to paint what the new boots hide.

Justin, I've had the same knock/clunk. I went to all measures to solve it...replaced sway bar endlinks & axle mount bushings w/ Energy suspension, ball joints are new, tie rod ends checked good, track bar bushings good, finally the 4x4 shop said my leaf spring eyelet bushings were shot, as you could see the rubber pushing out the side of the eyelet. They removed the springs, installed new bushings and things were good. 18 months later, I have the same issue comming back. I assume its the leaf springs, but its not bad enough yet. I notice it most when it is raining out or I just wash the truck; the water must let the spring shift in the shackle easier, thus the increased noise presence.
Hope this helps...
