Windstar Warning Light
1999 Windstar. I got a warning light earlier today. It's a circle with an exclamation point in it. Kind of looks like a light bulb with lines coming out from it. It's on the lower righthand side of the dash.
Any ideas? Thanks.

In most vehicles, this indicates that the Emergency brake is on.
It can also indicate a problem in the braking system.
Most probable. E-Brake is not fully disengaged or low brake fluid.
Mine lit up the other day while driving. I shut the ignition off and restarted and it went off and has not been on since. Probably a sensor glitch.
I kind of agree that it might be the brake light.
I miss the good old days where cars trouble light's had words (check engine, oil, brake, ect), now they have funky emblems. Half the time I have no clue what the light's for. Like on diesels, they have this funky squigly line to indicate wait to start, unlike the older ones that had a light that said, "wait to start" How freaken tough is it for auto manufactureres to make the US version with words?
Sorry for the rant.
I read somewhere on the net that it could be the e-brake or low fluid level. When you pull on the e-brake a red "brake" light comes on. I thought low brake fluid would cause the "brake" light as well. This light is amber in color. Wish I had the manual for it.
I was moving the car in the driveway when the light came on. Afterwards, I took it for a drive and the brakes felt fine.
Yes, I wish they would label the warning lights, unless they're painfully obvious.

I have a lightbulb burned out! HA!
That was my first thought as that is what the warning light looked like to me, but I didn't see any lights not working. Oh well, thanks again!
