Just make sure your state tags are lighted and visible. Also, all taillights have to be mounted and working. You will have to secure your fuel filler neck somehow. That's all I know of. I'm sure others will chime in with other things. Hope this helps.

Mud flaps are needed here unless you like buying windshields for everyone that follows you.

Highway patrol or an inspection station would be the best sources for correct info for your state.

most states your wheels have to be covered so you might have to make up some fenders. Of course I don't think the could give you anything stiffer than a fixit ticket for runnin with out the bed.
