My first mod's - WOW

Hey Just got done doin the 6637, zoodad, and foil delete. It took my around 4.5 hours and most of that thanks to the foil. Everything went smoothly but i did something a bit different then most.

1. Sawed my battery tray in half so the bottom air filter housing is now gone and i left the air intake tube(from the grill/zoodad - to the battery/intake)and the battery tray itself. Is there anything wrong with this?

- Definite increase in throttle response!
- No surge so far
- great sound
- unsure as to how much (if any) sound or whistle the foil delete did.

Thanks guys - im definitely a mod addict now and can only imagine how this truck is going to handle with exhaust and dptuner.

ill get some pics up tomorrow

Something I've always been aware of, but have never paid attention to, is one change at a time.

Couldnt help myself haha. These are just minor mods so there not much room for screwing something up.

...and so it begins young Luke. Things are better on the Dark Side where fiscal responsibility takes a back seat to The Force.

I remember when one of you all said that to me a year ago. Seems like an eternity. Truck's never run or sounded better, and I'm pretty confident I could tackle anything that pops up. There should be a certificate or degree or something issued from here: "FTE University Graduate".

You spend hours peeling and scubbing the foil off of the turbo tube. Make for more noise. No other benefit.
