how much and what kind of fluids for a complete change?
does the 240ci hold 6 qts like the 300? how can i find out what model of 3 speed i have i see there were a few. and pretty sure i have a 9" rear by the look of it. which would take 85w90 right? no manual but i will pick up a haynes or chiltons (prbly haynes)
240ci (pre 74)calls for 5 qt in my Chilton book. '74-up is 6 qt.
The 3 spd is likely at t-85(could be others?) which most hold around 4 pts.
The 9" will be around 6 pts.
Book calls for 80 or 90w gear lube. Take your pick. Cold weather would be 80w, hot weather I'd pick 90w.
Hope this helps.
