I have 130,000km's and been using offroad and marine diesel (low sulfer) for approx. 85% of the km's. No problems.
Be careful using Red Dyed Diesel...There are some pretty heft fines to be had if you get caught running it....Doesn't matter if you leave your "lot" or not. Not only that but you are abusing something that isn't for you if you do use it.
Home on the farm I have heard of guys getting caught running it in their trucks and regretting taking the risk.....
If it is true off road it WILL still be high sulfer fuel. It will give you better mpg and performance. If it is just died #2 then it will just cost less. You can run them in your truck with no trouble as it is not going to be on the road only in your lot. Hope that helps
