Intro

1984, at age 16 my first car was a 1979 Ford Fiesta
1990, married with one boy driving a 1985 Mustang GT as our family car.
1993, owned a 1989 E150 Chateau that served as a great work van. I blew the engine and it was the first engine I removed, had rebuilt and reinstalled all by myself.
2000, my beautiful wife found on her own a nice 1998 Expedition XLT 5.4L 4x4. All I insisted on was it have a tow package and it did. We still own it by the way.
2005, after a one year deployment to Kosovo after researching the Focus my wife went around to all he local dealer and got a hell of a deal on a new ST. It has a very noisy ride but otherwise we like it a lot.
2010, plan on returning from Iraq and buying a new F150.

The Expi is still a family truck as well as my towing vehicle to pull my enclosed 7x16 Haulmark trailer to haul my sport bikes down to Ft Rucker Alabama for various Army courses and to the local race tracks to watch motorcycle road racing and take part in motorcycle track days.

Welcome!

That is a cool story! Sounds like your wife knows her way around vehicles. Bikes and Ford trucks are a natural combination and a great way to have fun and see some country. I have a KLR that gets ridden almost daily unless the snow is too deep. One way to stay in touch at home is through your state chapter: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/forum91/ so be sure to stop in and see what's up.

Thank you for your service!
