with the diesels its more efficent to run it through the motor

If someone makes fans that can be installed on the front of the radiator core I would try them and let eveyone know if they work.
If not, I think I will just be stuck with a HOT truck...

I think Flex-a-Lite makes a fan that mount on the front of the radiator and it pushes the air through your radiator/intercooler assembly rather then replaces your stock fan and pulls the air. Not quite sure thay make it for diesels. You could always give them a call and ask.

If you are concerned about the turbo bearings cooking the oil there is another solution. I have the ESP pre/post luber system(not installed yet) which is an electric oil pump. It will pressurize the oil system before you start the engine and you can set the controller to run it for up to six minutes after shutdown. This keeps oil flowing to the bearings long enough to cool them down.
