Disregard my previous post. I didn't see the 429 part of your post. Slik converted a 351W to the serpentine system.

Serpentine belt
If you have power steering, you will need an electric fuel pump for clearence, A/C will require a sanden 508? compressor, which is why there wasn't one. The one and only I've seen actually had 2 belts, no A/C as mentioned, and if I remember right, the one belt drove the water pump and alt. (hi-mounted up near the valve cover), with the other drivin' the power steering pump only. It did look sharp though! Don't recall anything about a reverse rotation waterpump, may have been my oversight (not listening, to busy lookin'!) on that one.

My 95 F250 460 has two serpentine belts. And since the 460 and 429 blocks are the same... why not pull everything you need at a wrecker. The water pump rotates the same direction as the engine.
My buddy's 95 F250 powerstroke is opposite direction though.

hey man,
i believe that accufab has a kit to mount all the accesories off of a 87-93 mustang 5.0L to a 429-460, serpentine belt and all...even has a tensioner too i believe. hope this helps,
